Built for the extremes of adventure on snow, sea or sand, Botallack is our unique take on glacier style sunglasses. The frame features removable side shields offering complete protection and position-adjustable nose grips for a perfect fit. Each 100% recycled sunglasses frame is backed by our lifetime warranty, and directly drives our mission and impact. Paired with dark brown-tinted, polarised UV400+ impact-resistant lenses.

The frames and detachable side-shields of our Botallack sunglasses are made from our Traceable Marine Plastic™, recovered from the UK coastline and recycled by Waterhaul. Matte black 100% recycled frame, designed for durability and comfort with position adjustable nosepads.

Our Botallack frames are paired with polarised Polycarbonate+ lenses in a dark brown tint (10.39% VLT), designed to enhance contrast in bright conditions and bring out warmer tones. Built for lightweight performance, the lenses offer high impact resistance, with an outer anti-scratch coating and an inner anti-reflection coating to further improve clarity. All of our lenses offer full UV400+ protection.

All Waterhaul sunglasses are covered by our Lifetime Frame Warranty. Broken frames can be repaired or replaced free of charge, forever, while end-of-life frames go back into our recycling process to become a new product.

The plastic in our frames is entirely made from fishing gear and marine plastics that we've recovered and recycled in the UK. So far, we've recycled 105985kg of marine plastic and your purchase will help us to increase this even further.

Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from.

Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.

In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.

Even though I had big problems with Royal Mail, I still gave 5 stars because the glasses feel great, look great and work great, so highly recommended for cycling or driving as the sun goes down.

The side bars come off and on easily, so you can change your look up depending on the occasion.

Have been wearing them daily for a week. They are extraordinarily effective. Lenses offer better sun protection and clarity than my Persol sunglasses. Frames are light. The side covers remove easily and are as easy to replace. Recommend removal if you need lateral vision - they do what they’re designed to do, but e.g. I wouldn’t cycle with the covers on. Overall fantastic value and highly recommended.

Arrived promptly after purchasing online. The lense clarity is amazing, I also really like the fact that the brackets are removable. They are also super comfy and I’m now using them daily. I would definitely recommend.
