Every pair of prescription Waterhaul's include a 100% recycled PET lens cloth and folding cork hard case, and is carefully packed in 100% recyclable, plastic-free packaging.
Prescription orders will take 1-2 weeks to fulfil and as the lenses are custom made to order they are not eligible for returns.
Our frames are built with our 100% recycled Traceable Marine Plastic (polypropylene) that we have recovered and recycled in the UK. For every frame you can trace the exact locations of where the plastic for your batch was recovered from.
Polypropylene is a lightweight, durable polymer, commonly used in fishing gear such as ropes, bait bags and mooring lines.
In the marine environment it poses a major entanglement threat to marine life, but its recovered and recycled form, it's a strong plastic suited to a very broad range of uses, and helps to give our frames a flexibility that, when heated, allows you to make adjustments to your frames at home.
You're not just buying a pair of sunglasses. Every Waterhaul product sold directly enables the expansion of our fishing gear recovery and recycling efforts, and creates a demand for even more plastic to be removed from the ocean.

Awesome sunglasses as always from Waterhaul. The Towans are lightweight, flexible, comfortable to wear and easy to clean. Straight out of the box the fit is spot on and the lenses are crystal clear with high quality polarising to cut down the glare, as a full time canoe coach and outdoor instructor this is vital for me, very impressed!
On top of the above, to know they are made from traceable, recycled fishing nets just makes the whole package a win-win.

Perfect fit, look great and great quality
I'm impressed with my Waterhaul sunnies. The lenses are top quality, nothing bad I could say about them, I like the grey colour because it's actually a neutral shade when you're wearing them, no distortion of colour. The filter added to the inside of the lens looks good and looks quality too. The outside of the lens is plain, but that's what I wanted, not a showy look. The frame material is great, it's novel so these glasses have some character to them. It's also a light material but feels sturdy. I'll buy more later, I will go for a more wrap-around style next time for sports use.
Glasses are very comfortable to wear and fit perfectly. Good quality construction and glad to be helping to repurpose the waste material.
The glasses arrived promptly and were well packaged. The sidearm are flexible enough to prevent pressure on your head yet strong enough to feel secure in use. I like the look and the feel of them.

Nice style and I love the philosophy of the company. I have worn them all weekend and find them a bit loose- even though I have a biggish head. It won't put me off using them though.

A happy purchase, nice light and comfortable sunnies, use them mostly for driving and have been great in the sun, stopping a lot of the glare!
Then of course wearing something, knowing they are of benefit to our coastline and are a product of a great idea to recycle waste clogging up our shoreline!!
